Libraries

The Council has two school/community library service arrangements operating in the district. The Balaklava based one operates out of the Balaklava High School with depots at Owen and Port Wakefield. The Snowtown system operates out of the Snowtown Area School with depots at Blyth and Brinkworth. For logistical reasons, Hamley Bridge is serviced by the school/community library service based in Riverton with Council making an annual financial contribution.
