Honouring Our Boer War Heroes, Balaklava
On Sunday 7 May at 2pm, jump onto the Council Community Bus to unveil the plaque to honour local Boer War Veterans 1899-1902, and Mr Stephen Ralli (Werocata) who was responsible for South Australian horses sent to the war. Followed by viewing of war history/memorabilia at Centenary Hall Museum, May Tce, and afternoon tea at Urlwin Park Museum, 34a Short Tce, Balaklava.

The George Brinkworth Family Legacy, Brinkworth
On Sunday 7 May from 10am to 4pm, visit the Brinkworth Museum to view a history of George Brinkworth's family and their contribution to the local community. Collect a guide for a self-guided tour to sites relevant to the Brinkworth family history. At the museum also view the new display of farming equipment used in early times.
